Religious Wars

Still don't.

Dick wasn't kidding when he said they were just banging these songs out because just a few months later, in July 1982, they released the Religious Wars EP.

This was recorded once again at Pickwick Studios, but the cover art features the work of Nick Lant.

Most of Subhuman's most characteristic and iconic covers were done by Nick, and honestly, they're some of the most recognizable in all of punk.

So I sent him the lyrics to Religious Wars and asked him to do a drawing for the single we had coming out.

We didn't hear anything back from him for like three weeks.

Then suddenly it turned up in the post, this picture in the seven inch card mailer.
