Communities like us, Bible-believing communities like us, never sent one single person cross-culturally to tell anybody about Jesus.

In fact, the person who we sometimes describe as the father of modern missions, William Carey, was incredibly stirred up that there were numbers of millions of people across the globe that never heard of the name Jesus and someone had to do something to tell them about Jesus, that he went to his Denominational headquarters and he said he was so stirred up that we had to do something, we had to do something to reach the lost on the planet.

And his main burden at that time was for India.

And his Denominational church leader said this to him, he says, young man, If God wants to reach the pagan, he can do it without you.

See, how horrendous is that? But I wonder if we sometimes posture our own attitude.

We leave the Great Commission to other people.

And we're going to talk about the Quakers, the Restoration, Stone Campbell Movement, Church of Christ, the Millerites, Seventh-day Adventists, all of that.

And yeah, so we're about a little more than halfway through the Denomination series.

I know it's been slow going, but we're going to get there eventually.

And then I have a really awesome series that I've been working on.
