Rehoboth

The true nightmare is what happens on the fringes.

You see, the triangle is bracketed by the bustling, heavily populated suburban towns of Abington, Rehoboth, and Freetown.

Now, this isn't the isolated wilderness of the Pacific Northwest.

This is the busy commuter corridor south of Boston.

In towns like Totten and Rainham, you don't have to go looking for the supernatural.

It has a habit of finding you while you're just trying to walk the dog or commute home from the second shift.

Now take Route 44 in Rehoboth, a perfectly ordinary two-lane highway flanked by thick woods.

For decades, terrified motorists have slammed on their brakes to avoid hitting a towering bearded man wearing a flannel shirt standing dead in the middle of the road.

right?

So the points are Rehoboth, Abington, and Freetown.

Bridgewater itself is a town that's right smack dab in the middle of all this.

Other towns included in this vortex are Raynham, Brockton, Norton, and Taunton.

Then you got Onawan Rock.

This is... also in the swamp, and it's along Route 44 in Rehoboth, which we said we were going to talk about.

It's named for Chief Anawan, and this is where he surrendered to the colonists and ended the King Philip's War that we talked about how bloody it was.

Okay, first item.
