And also with us is Alan Clamp, the Chief Executive of the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care, and the PSA oversees healthcare regulators, including the General Medical Council, the Nursing Midwifery Council, and eight other regulators and 28 accredited registers, such as the Register of Clinical Technologists.

Alan was previously CEO at both the Security Industry Authority and the Human Dissue Authority, and he's also a non-executive at the Intellectual Property Regulation Board and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, and has just finished five years on the board of the Institute of Regulation.
