Refugee Week

And I'm really glad that you have that experience coming into the exhibition.

I've had folks just come up to me and there was one visitor today who looked at a sculpture, Compassion, that I did, which was a sculptural version of an illustration for Refugee Week 2023 under the theme of compassion.

And she just started talking to me about her husband who she lost recently and she just started crying and then I started crying and I gave her a hug.

And those kinds of moments, they are a form of kind of activism.

I can't wait, for the beer especially.

Yeah, so we, we did, we did an event, Bake for Courage, earlier this year for Refugee Week.

So we got l- all the bakeries in the country basically that we could get on board to use our chai to make baked goods, which is an amazing initiative again, that kind of went sort of viral.

Next year we're looking to do something different, so we'll see how that goes.
