Mm-hmm.

Still volunteer with the American Legion here, um, for the state.

And so my second year of law school, um, I had the opportunity to intern for Governor Kelly Armstrong through the law school, and that was a, uh, was supposed to be just for the legislative session, and I ended up getting extended kind of through the summer.

So saw firsthand the great work that Sickler and, uh, Representative Landon Bailey, who is not seeking re-election, um, had done some phenomenal things in the legislature last session.

And I'd already lived in the district.

Um, I was hoping to get involved, uh, locally, and the opportunity had arose, um, when- Representative Ball had announced that he was not seeking a second term.

So, I worked with our party chairman, Josh Anderson, with Mark Sanford, with Jonathan Sickler, some others in the district, and, um, really, uh, the stars had kind of aligned for me to be able to put my name on the ballot at, you know, at the ripe age of 29.

Oh, yeah.
