Because it's like biography, it's memoir, etc.

But Jane Austen is so sophisticated.

When I read her later in life, so when I was reading her in my teens, I was like, who is this posh white woman? Well, I didn't think white because everybody was white where I lived.

Some horses become household names.

Seabiscuit, Secretariat, Red Rum and others become famous far beyond people who normally follow racing.

Newspapers write about them.

Crowds come specifically to see them.

Arkle was a Goffs graduate through the RDS.

Red Rum, the only three-time winner of the English Grand National.

But in the other world, Mr. Softee was another one.

So Goffs sold here until 1973, uh, when things changed and we moved down.
