Red Frogs

I can look back and see times where God's been with me all my life, but since being at Tribes, it's been way more prevalent.

I even remember the first year that I was at Tribes, I ended up volunteering later on in the year for Red Frogs.

yeah someone from this house actually blessed me yeah just ended up sending me 500 which covered the um cost to go to red frogs um like and provided like food for the week which is so amazing and even fast forward now sales 2024 and fast forward now to 2026 um Like I'm in the school of ministry.

It's been an answered prayer.

It was probably like only like a few weeks out from it starting that I was still, I hadn't signed up.

you know, all the resources going into all the rest of our patients and all the other student party-related presentations that we've had.

Organisation Red Frogs is at student events and patrols the streets keeping students safe, offering them water, charging their phones and organising rides home.

Volunteer Shannon Thompson says they also weren't aware of the party on Sunday.

She says while there are known events like O Week, Rio Week and St Patrick's Day, every year is different.

in mighty different ways.

Like I loved it because when we first knew each other, you were serving on red frogs at schoolies week, which is not a glamorous call.

Do you know what I mean? You're picking up vomit, you're cooking pancakes for hungover kids, loving on people.

And you did that faithfully.

Probably more than schoolies.

Where are the Red Frogs?

Um-

They'll be around.
