What we did earlier this year and will be continuing to do is an open display, an activation that is called We Kept the Receipts.

And I say that to say because reparations requires receipts.

AD 2599 began building that ledger and also part of what people have been doing across the country is noting the receipts that we have, that these are not just, you know, phantom injuries or phantom events, that they're actually documented and exist in other places, including in insurance records.

That haunts me still, and this was one of the scariest experiences of my life.
