So what makes Confessions, in your opinion, what makes Confessions on a dance floor one of her most critically acclaimed albums in her discography?

I think also, you know, for all intents and purposes, for the main feed of the world about Madonna, not the Madonna fan.

The last time anybody really was paying attention to Madonna as, like, a big tour was Rebel Heart.

And even that was, like, a niche event to a degree, meaning, like, either you were on board or not for a Madonna concert.

Do you know what I mean?

So I would say MD&A was the last time that she really, like, had international...

Like, people would come that were just like, oh, it's a Madonna concert? Yeah.

Rebel Heart to a degree, but it, like, started to dissipate.

Well, and Madonna put... strategically knew that and added in back in some of the big, I mean, she did Like a Virgin and Material Girl for the first time in, I think since Blonde Ambition, she did both of them in a show together.

Um, to me that feels like she was attempting a version of Danceeteria but hadn't found it, and this is like, I mean, it's already a Madonna classic.

Um, you know, big, big, um, Madame X lover.

Um, Rebel Heart not so much, but you know, lots to love in there, and the less said about MDNA the better.

But, um, on tour, I feel like I saw her kind of disappear a little bit behind all of the armor.

Um, I always think back to, you know, that, what was it, the Billboards Woman of the Year speech, which was iconic in its own right, and she talked about, you know, when she said those iconic words about, "The most controversial thing I've ever done is to stick around." Um, I remember thinking back to that and s- and thinking how battle-worn she seemed and how sad.

And then as Madame X came around, her interviews and stuff, she just seemed so guarded.

And I felt like she was piling on all this armor, whether it was the eye patch, whether it was the grills, whether it was all the jewelry, whether it was all, you know, the wigs, um, all that kind of stuff, that there was this armor where she was disappearing into herself, I think, and it came across on stage a little bit.

I think the Rebel Heart Tour had some amazing moments.

Um, you know, she featured my husband, Ben Ewden's artwork in the Rebel Heart montage, which was an amazing moment for us personally.
