in the rise of skywalker it's fixed so she's going to be successful on that how might surprise you uh so there's things like that you know her getting over some of her hang-ups and some of her anxiety so that she can use this force healing technique that was pretty cool some other stuff about her lineage that comes out in this book i thought it was a nice companion to both the A Resistance Reborn book that Rebecca Roanhorse, I think that's her name, wrote.

And Shadow of the Sith that Adam Christopher wrote as well.

It's all completely different characters and stuff like that.

But yeah, I also got to meet Rebecca Roanhorse, who was totally delightful, really, really nice.

And it was just an awesome con, and it was right in my neighborhood.

And I mean, I had to wake up.

Well, a little bit of book and comic news.

We got, we were just talking about our, uh, this book and how we're looking forward to it, but Star Wars: Edge of the Abyss, which is part of the Reign of the Empire trilogy, and it's being written by Rebecca Roanhorse and comes out next week on September 5th, has an excerpt which you can find on entertainmentweekly.com. And it feat- um, it features Saw Gerrera in a meeting with Anto Kreegyr, who we got a glimpse of in Andor season one.

And yeah, so there's a meeting between these two.

I, I've been wondering about this book because the first one was written by Alexander Freed, and of course, this one's by Rebecca Roanhorse.

So I was wondering if there was gonna be a big difference in the writing style, in the tone, or whatever.

Uh, but it's not nearly as long as "Mask of Fear." However, it's fantastic.

Uh, Rebecca Roanhorse, freaking great.

Uh, I have always loved her writing in "Resistance Reborn," even though I think that book is a, like, a B minus maybe, but the, like, A plus writing.

And then speaking of Star Wars books, next Tuesday, September 15th, the second book in the Reign of the Empire trilogy comes out.

That is Edge of the Abyss by Rebecca Roanhorse.

We'll be getting a review out on utini.com. Around release day, aiming to get it on there again as life has gotten busy and the books get longer.

It has been a little tougher, I will say, because I believe the embargo is up.

It's not really a big spoiler, but it is.

Otherwise, I really enjoyed the writing style of it, and I loved the thematic elements that Rebecca Roanhorse, the author here, was able to delve into the novel.
