Yeah.
24:39
Absolutely.

I think when I learned the tarot, so when I was a wee emerging witch 26-ish years ago, 25 years ago, I studied tarot with somebody who's now a great friend of mine who... taught us the major arcana by getting us to carry them for a week and reflect back.
25:04
At the end of the week, we'd come into class and he'd say, how was your week? Tell me about what happened.
25:11
What we'd find is there's that sense of as above, so below that happens when you're on a spiritual path that You know, what you're thinking about on the inside gets projected outside and there's this kind of interplay between your spiritual life and what's happening in the rest of the world.
25:31
So we'd come in every week going, oh my God, this happens.
25:34
And I just so happened to have in my pocket this card.

beliefs in ourself of doubt about how capable we are um and until you fully there's something about just stepping into something as well and owning it and that's you know what i've done with my mediumship in um recent times and as soon as i've stepped in and just said well i'm doing this now the universe responds it's almost like energy fellows thoughts who would have guessed Yes, it is.
11:22
So tell us a bit about your book and who it's aimed for.
11:25
So I'll start with who it's aimed for.
11:28
The readership of this one, a bit like my other books, is anybody that's interested in witchcraft or paganism or practice.
11:36
It's not...
11:38
It's not only designed for initiates by any stretch, it's also for People who identify as pagan, people who don't identify as pagan but are curious, that I like to refer to as the witch curious, which I encounter quite a lot in my teaching practice, that people are sort of wonder what we're up to and dip a toe in the water and they think they might like it, but they're not sure.
12:05
So that's the readership.
12:09
It is, it's called The Season of Frost and Fire because it's all about winter.

So when you were choosing the cards, was it a case of you researching the theme of that particular week and then going, OK, academically, this will be this card or is it more of the cards kind of jumped out at you?

What can people do to help them connect more to the land and also to celebrate summer solstice as well?
17:04
I think there's a number of things that I would always say is if you can get out in nature, do.
17:09
So, you know, get out of the town and get out onto the sort of moorland and the headlands.
17:15
And, you know, we're so lucky where we are to have access to these amazingly stunning places.
17:23
So one of my favourite things, if I can, and it does require getting up painfully early on midsummer, but I do like going out really early to watch the sunrise.
17:35
That's something my partner and I have been doing for the last few years is actually going up onto the moors and finding a good stone circle or a stone row and watching the sunrise from there because you get a real sense of... historically, what were our magical ancestors doing when they placed these stones in the places they put them? You start to see, you know, there was a...
18:02
We went out last year and a few years we've gone out and it's been so sort of misty and overcast you can't actually see the sunrise.

But I also still find it a little bit confusing at the same time.
