Well, some people believe he could have possibly been a serial killer as opposed to just a cannibal.

The girl whose body was found, her boyfriend was the lead singer for Reagan Youth, the original lead singer.

He ended up committing suicide 'cause he couldn't wrap his head around.

Also, my lead guitarist in a band that I had at, at that time, um, she disappeared in Thompson Square Park.

So I'm not going to go too much further into it right now.

but it is a cover song originally by Reagan Youth, hardcore punk band.

This is not the version that I was familiar with.

The version that I was familiar with is by another hardcore punk band called Degeneration.

And now we've

arrived at our centerpiece of the album.

so this is by the lone rangers which is the cast of the film led by brendan frazier with degenerated so there's a lot to cover here with this song the song is originally by legendary new york hardcore band reagan youth and it ended up here in airheads because of a few different reasons and we're going to go through these these reasons there's Some controversy, whether or not you think it's a big deal, that's up to you.

But there's a few different ways how this ended up in here.

I just got a, like, 87, I just about did every Sunday matinee.

So I got Side by Side, Sick of It All, Reagan Youth, YDL, New York Hoods.

I mean, a long list of really important bands.

Absolutely.

Some thrash or death metal bands would later adopt the seven-inch for their early releases.

Think of Black Flag’s I Heard It Through the Grapes or Minor Threat’s split with Reagan Youth.

The template spread into other underground scenes.

Today, collectors chase original pressings with hand-stenciled sleeves that sometimes have a price tag higher than the original two-dollar purchase.

Now, I'm very grateful that the metal and punk scene gave me the time to kind of change and get my thing together.

I had inspiration because when I was at NYU, for instance, I met a good friend of mine was, uh, the singer of a famous punk band called Reagan Youth, who was a total anarchist, wild punk band who, uh, people should go and listen to 'cause they are completely amazing.

And so he would...

I would take him to jazz shows and he would bring me to the punk shows.
