Ready to Start

I ranked this album 31 on my 2021 albums list and 42 on the 23 list.

I played five songs before, Ready to Start, Month of May, Deep Blue, We Used to Wait, and Sprawl to Mountains Beyond Mountains, which are all fantastic songs.

it is a 16 track album let's start with the opener number one the suburbs here it is

Grab your mother's keys, we're leaving You always seem so sure I saw you standing on the opposite shore But by the time the first bombs fell We were already poor We were already, already poor Sometimes I can't believe it I'm moving on Sometimes I can't believe it.

Yeah.

Well, after all this reflection, after you've walked away from this job, track 12, ready to start.

Arcade Fire.

Arcade Fire

If I was bored, you know I would.

And if I was pure, you know I would.

Now I'm ready to start.

My personal interpretation of it all is really this is the most immediate description of why people often don't quit out of fear, out of comfort, out of, ooh, I don't know if it's the pure choice.

Yes, absolutely.
