It's a privilege for me to be able to interview Bas Timmerman, who works for RDW.

And, you know, the Dutch have done extraordinary work in the area of NDLs and standards.

Could you tell us a little bit about who you are, your role, and what does RDW do?

Okay.

At the same time, there was a very interesting Reuters report that they managed to obtain...

the communication between Tesla and the RDW, the Dutch authorities that first approved the system.

And, you know, I won't get into all the details here.

I would suggest you read our report or Rotor's original report here.

But the automakers can also argue on what They're going to pay for it.

So since they pay for it, they can say, we're not going to pay for that, so don't do that.

And that's literally what happened there where RDW was asking, okay, Tesla gave them their internal data, not even their internal data, their own interpretation of their internal data.

That's always the big thing in any kind of scientific paper or something like that.

I could not find a date for that December meeting, so I'm not sure if they've set it yet.

But anyway, uh, Tesla Europe had pointed, had previously pointed to October 6th as a possible approval, uh, or as a possible EU-wide vote, pardon me, after the Dutch Vehicle Authority, RDW, granted the first European type approval back on April 10th.

That approval, under UN Regulation 171, uh, is the legal file that other member states have been recognizing one by one.

The same committee has already discussed the request twice without voting, but now there will be a vote in December.
