RCN Corporation

Joke intended, it's just that good user experience can actually generate higher customer satisfaction and lower support costs.

If you have an issue with Comcast or RCN or those types of places, and I don't think they have very good user experiences, but if they did, they could probably get rid of half of the people that take those calls every day.

I put together just two pages, two different sites just to give you an example, at least through my lens, a good user experience and a bad user experience.

Yellowpages.com, this is their previous site.

Clem.

When I first moved to New York, I got RCN because every other internet provider took a month and a half to get to me.

So I swapped to Verizon a year ago, and it has been the most life-changing experience.

Getting good internet is one of the best adult things you can do, I feel like.

And I watched the Grumman base in Calverton, Long Island.

We were friends on RCN.

Our studios were probably a mile from there getting closed down.

But the Internet and all this, the computer technology and the phone in your pocket all came from that closure.

Although it is funny.

When I first moved into this house, the people who own this house before me had a RCN internet.

I don't even know if they still exist or somebody bought them, but they had an RCN cable based internet and, And they had canceled that service, apparently.

And I know this because outside the house where the RCN coaxial cables came in, they were literally cut.

Like, cut ends of the cable were sticking up.

I saw where they had cut them.
