And then when you look in the receiving room, I thought Ezekiel Yvette probably had the better game.

This is a perfect opportunity for Fresno State's defense to show that they can defend the run.

And then on the flip side, their running attack with Rayshon Luke and Bryson Donaldson.

There's been injuries and concerns about that.

To me, I thought that was going to be the second-best running game in the conference.

I mean, especially if you don't have a Rayshon Luke who's averaging almost seven yards a carry.

If you don't have a healthy Bryson Donaldson who's right there behind him averaging about five yards a carry, and if he's only getting four carries and they're not 100%, that's obviously not going to get you anywhere.

There's no doubt about that for sure.

They've really started to use matchups.

Josiah Freeman, Zeke Abbott, Speedy Luke hitting the perimeter.

He's expanded the playbook a little bit to focus on some... player matchups where you know like when you come from the fcs level that's not really a part of the game as much as it is as you move up and i think he's grown in that way and jayden mandel has allowed him to do that he has the skill set to get the ball out quick he has a skill set to hit the perimeter he can use his legs in the run game to you know add a different element to what they're able to do on the ground and josh davis has become more comfortable with Jaden Mandel, the way he prepares, the fact that the game has slowed down because now he's more comfortable.

He has a little bit of experience.
