Can, can you paint a picture? What has ch- actually changed in, in that time, in the time that you've been focusing on this?

So let me tell you a story.

It goes back before doing this when I was a civil rights specialist for the Mass Department of Education.

And at that point, some districts had been cited in their special needs reporting that they had a significant number of minority students in certain categories.

So I went to meet with a superintendent and said, "Okay, so here's the citation, and here's the data you submitted.

So we're concerned about it." And the superintendent said, "When we filled out the form, we asked people what they thought we should have in these categories, and so that's the data.

We can't replicate anything that we said." And I'm afraid that superintendents sign their, um, non-discrimination statement not really thinking about the implications for it.

Like, just even the data table, table had me thinking, like, "Well, what is the best way that the data table should have the alt text? Should that be the only way that you can put the information in or the only way you can visualize it?" Just interesting to, to, to break that apart.
