He's like, "Well, I think we should give the guys a day off, and, you know, and I think we gotta start w- you know, worrying about, like, let's make sure that..." He just tells you, you know? Like, you don't know how you're supposed to schedule out a month.

I just talked to that with, uh, you know, Ray Whitney just got hired as the assistant with the Kings.

And he said they went down, and they were going through the schedule, and, uh, you know, he's a really smart guy, and they, he was talking.

As far as specific examples, like I can't really think of...

I know Ray Whitney, you know, you never, you wouldn't think Ray, but I think Ray was telling me, I didn't even know it was going on.

I mean, I was oblivious to what was, I was just focusing on the games and trying not to embarrass myself.

But, you know, Ray was telling me about like when we went in the playoff, he, I think it was like, his groin or his, I think it would, no, not his groin.

they've got really good depth up front now i know they lost kopi that's a big loss but i think byfield's gonna step up and he's gonna have a big year brant clark's gonna have a big year because they got phil housley as an assistant coach um ray whitney the wizard is also an assistant so that's

gonna be fun yeah yeah yeah

so i'm excited i i really am um those reasons and and others i think that it's going to be a good season

He, he, uh, one, one component to the offensive side of Byfield that maybe we overlook, too, is I love this move, and no coaching experience for Ray Whitney, but bringing him in as an assistant coach, I think that he's the type of guy, and he's got unbelievable personality and a way of getting through to people, where I think he's gonna untap a lot of untapped resources in that lineup-
