I saw part of it on TV years ago, but I can't really remember.

I just remember Dan Aykroyd popping up as Ray Stantz from Ghostbusters.

Again, like I say, never liked children's films, but we'll give it a pop.

They go into where the books are, and they're investigating, and they see spooky stuff.

slime on everything on the card catalog, and, like, Ray's little meter is going off the charts, like.

And there's, like, books that are

Dan Aykroyd played Ray Stantz, and he was Elwood Blues in The Blues Brothers.

Having repaired the Ghostbusters Ecto-1's engine with Egon's help, Trevor uses the car to chase Muncher with the duo.

They capture him, but are arrested for the damage incurred and their equipment is seized.

Using the Ghostbusters telephone number that she had written down, Phoebe contacts Ray Stantz for help, informing him of Egon's death.

In turn, Ray tells her what became of the Ghostbusters following Viggo the Carpathian's defeat.

However, that being said, you can tell that both books were probably adapting the same version of the script because a lot of the same events were present.

It's just that the US version by Mueller, he added a lot of backstory to Egon, Ray, and Peter.

Like, especially to Ray.

I mean, you learn a lot about them in college and growing up.

The UK version by Milne does not do this.

At Dana's apartment, Peter is using an instrument that he's pumping with his hand.

In the movie, we never really learn what that instrument really is, but both of the novelizations have different ideas of what that instrument is.

In the US version, which I talked about last time, we're told it's Ray Stantz's device and it's supposed to measure ectoplasmic residue.

Yeah.

Raymond Stantz, Ray, played by Dan Aykroyd.

And Harold Raymond's playing Dr. Egon Spengler.

They are our trio who, while holding university jobs for the first 15 minutes of this film, lose it rather quickly because they are, at least two out of the three of them, are seriously invested in investigating the paranormal.

Oh.

Uh, also, I will point out, just as a point of order, uh, this is the exact tactic Ray Stanz used that led to the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man rampaging through New York.

Yeah, and I was gonna ask you too, what does, uh, what does your pack look like? If somebody was to, uh, put it in a, a line-up, would you say that, you know, it would resemble a Egon, uh, Spengler pack, or is there a Stantz pack, or i- is, is it a Jeff pack? What, what is it?

I'd say my 84 pack is a Jeff pack, um, 'cause I went with, like a, a showroom new look to it.

I didn't do any kind of weathering to it.
