Ray Looze

[upbeat music] We're here at the Senior Cupdown in St. Petersburg, Florida in the ISCA Hall of Fame inductions.

And Coach Ray Looze, Indiana could be one of the inductees.

Coach at Peak Aquatics, who also has a swimmer at Indiana who also made the Olympic team to say a few words.

First of all, I'd like to congratulate Ray on a much deserved honor, uh, of a long successful career around the pool as both a swimmer and a coach.

Um, and yes, I'm currently doing it.

I'm in Ray's office right now.

It's a really nice office to try and get away from all the noise going on 'cause we got, uh, first week of class and everything.

So trying to find a quiet spot where I can sit down for a little bit and talk.

We-- I definitely, you know, leading up to that meet, was going pretty, pretty hard in the pool all the time, so that might, might, might've played into it, but Yeah, it's just strange.

Just, you know, it happens

Ray Looze was my roommate on the national team when I was on the national team.

Um, I really have a lot of faith in that guy, smart guy.
