Rawhide Kid

But this is just about the high grade.

It is Rawhide Kid 98 Black Picture Frame Cover.

Oh, my goodness.

I mean, my lord.

So Peter is in the park sleeping on Mary Jane's shoulder.

shoulder and he wakes up at the old west is what happens and so so what peter does is he decides to stop these goons that are on the horses and stuff uh using his webbing and then uh there's somebody there who is the uh rawhide kid who i wasn't even familiar with i had to do research on him um He's from 1960.

Stanley and Jack Kirby created him.

And they introduced each other.

And basically, Rawhide Kid had an Uncle Ben who died too, and that's why he became a hero.

And so they head off to town.

They decide to go to this bar called the Howling Bluff that... johnny knows and so uh the people that they were that uh johnny was going after are in the bar and so uh peter switching into a spider-man suit runs into a lady there and so she hits on him kisses him and she's like my my lady does mine so excuse me and then uh Peter comes in swinging, uh, throwing the bad guys.

I thought it was cute.

Uh, we're ...

Stay tuned for the, the Trial of the Rawhide Kid at the end of the month.

Matt will be joining me for that one as well.

[laughs]

Uh, Mark.

You heard my interview with m- interview editor Mark Bernardo about the incredible series Blade of, uh, Blaze of Glory, which is a really, really wonderful retelling of a lot of this stuff.

Uh, the Rawhide Kid modern retellings by Rod Zimmerman, fuck that noise.

There's some really funny shit, but there's some really awful shit.

[laughs]

And it's the Rawhide Kid and Spider-Man crossover.

Wow.

Does anybody know? Larry Lieber is Stan Lee's brother-

Yeah

... who created the Rawhide Kid back in the day.

It's, it's a fun story and, and I enjoyed this.

I sat down with this on Sunday and read all, almost 100 pages of it, and it left me with a smile on my face.

Oh, nice.

Yeah, Peter seems to have an adventure with the Rawhide Kid.

That's great.

Roll out.
