Ravine Gardens State Park

And I told her, I said, you know, back in the day, I don't know if the guy still does it, but in my hometown, the Ravine Garden guy, he would go down and he played bagpipes.

Well, this thing's like a giant hole in the earth, so it turns into a big speaker.

So you could hear this guy playing bagpipes down by the river.

For baseball practice, we used to run in our hometown.

We have a thing called the Ravine Gardens.

And it's just a giant ravine.

And it's got roads and trails and stuff through it.

It was nice.

Like I said, it's one of the very few things I miss about working in Palatka is the ability to regularly and conveniently stop off in Ravine Gardens on a nice day.

and take a walk.

By the way, I did my hike in Ravine Gardens for a bit over an hour, and it's some pretty rugged terrain.

And I did it with a 45-pound weight plate strapped to my Outdoorsman's Atlas Trainer pack frame system.

So, yeah, I wasn't just hiking for a bit over an hour on rugged trails.

I didn't have enough time on my drive back from Palatka to finish up all the points I wanted to hit shittin' on academia.

Can't say I'm terribly surprised that me shittin' on academia ends up taking a long time.
