Ravensbourne University London

And I've been here ever since.

I did my BA at Ravensbourne in visual communication.

And I did a master's in graphic design at Central, what was then Central Saint Martins.

And then I've been working in London for... 15 to 20 years picture of agency work and freelance.

But when I was 16, instead of going down the traditional route of sixth form college and academic A-levels and so on, I decided to go to art college in Barnsley and do a general art and design BTEC course where we also did A-levels alongside, but it was a really kind of creative environment where we For two years, we tried out every different creative discipline from photography through to graphic design, textiles, and obviously art and printmaking.

And I think it was during that time that I started to realize that graphic design, after all, was the direction that I did want to go in.

And rather fortuitously, looking back on it, I discovered Ravensbourne College.

And Ravensbourne at the time, that was where I applied to do my degree.

I think part of the manifestation process is realizing it is a co-creation process, that it is you and the universe, or you and God, and you and your spirit guides, or you and your ancestors, whoever it is that works for you.

And knowing that things are happening behind the scenes, behind the curtain, in the unseen, that you have no idea about right now and the famous phrase rejection is redirection rejection is protection I think about that so many times especially in my own life I really wanted to get into this university called Westminster to study fashion I bombed the interview I got so nervous and And it all worked out for the best because when I went to Ravensbourne, which was also a top London university to study fashion, I got there and I was like, actually, I don't even like pattern cutting.

I love the process of picking the fabrics, but then styling it up at the end and coming up with a vision for the photo shoot.

So I actually changed courses, which I would not have been able to do if I'd gone to that first university.

Um, yeah, originally, um, started off as a editor.

Um, and then was, yeah, sort of studied at Ravensbourne College for two years doing editing and camera work but majored in, um, editing.

And, um, yeah, sort of, uh, ended up as a freelancer, freelance editing, and then ended up full-time, uh, uh, corporate, uh, production company called Kantar.

Um, and I was there for 20 years.
