I'm still embarrassed to say the name of this band and mix company, but I am very proud to be a super fan.

A critic in the Los Angeles Times called the album a retreat and a disappointment.

The review begins, "The songs are sketchy, the mix is a mess, and Shane MacGowan mumbles and stumbles through every song so you can barely understand a word." The nerds at rateyourmusic.com have given this album a 3.44 out of 5, and this was Shane MacGowan's final album with The Pogues.

But, like, really would just, like, find an album I liked and then would look at, like, Last.fm, RateYourMusic, and be, like, similar artists too, and then just, like, the rabbit hole just, like, deepens and, like...

Then I found breakcore and Venetian Snares and-

In critical terms, All Music Guide gives this album very high praise stating, quote, "There are few bands who have managed to record such a strong, fully developed first album after only two years of existence.

Supersister's debut effort remains one of Holland's best progressive rock albums and a classic of the genre worldwide, even though the group garnered only fringe interest outside of Europe." 993 fans on the Rate Your Music site give it an average rating of 3.68 out of 5.

Discogs users give it a really high average score of 4.49 out of 5.

This really is an unconventional album.
