ラピダスとあと九州のあれですね、TSMCですね。とかに。まあそれだけ、まあ今そういうの流行ってるわけですよね、自国内で。その一つだと思うください。

These are things like DSMC, Intel, Samsung, Rapidus, Global Foundries, to name a few of the players.

And as the IP provider with by far the largest portfolio of what we call hard IP or FAB-specific IP, we are actually designing with the FABs.

We're actually co-designing FABs.

Strategically, Japan gets a very high-end domestically designed processor and domestically built server platform for sovereign infrastructure.

Monaco will be manufactured by TSMC, while everyone is also looking at Rapidus, the Japanese high-end chip manufacturer that looks like will start manufacturing in volume later in 2027 or 2028.

Even then, there is packaging and the existing complex supply chain.

So the whole thing illustrates why full technology sovereignty is difficult.
