And that's the thing is that I might wind up watching cyberpunk when it comes out with my roommates.

But we'd probably like right now, our main thing is on the weekends, we're watching, you know, Jojo, we're watching Jojo's and Ranma.

So edge runners will probably eventually take that spot once we're done with those.

Yeah, JoJo's is on.

I also watched this weekly, and so going back and re-watching it, and now re-watching it again for the podcast, I was able to appreciate more of how they built things up.

Are there any fall anime that you're watching, or anything you want to shout out in particular?

I mentioned Ranma Steel Ball Run.

I did watch the first episode of Rayearth, and I'm interested to see how that goes.

Yes, yes, and today we're going to discuss the most cursed and frightening of all Ranma stories.

That's right, we'll be discussing the haunted underwear stories.

Yeah, yeah, we sure will.

But prior to that, everything she made was episodic.

Ranma had a bit more structure to it at the start, which I assume is because of, like, experience.

But somebody got some fucking habanero hot sauce in the Ranma animation.

this season because it's nuts what they've been doing these past couple episodes um i won't talk about the show too much because i'm the only one watching it and it still kind of is a lot of more of the same though there's been a little bit of character background and stuff but goddamn like they decided to ramp up the action animation so hard not to mention the art style is just different period i need to look if it's a different studio making it or not but all the characters look a lot sharper this season.

There's definitely been a move from the kind of soft, pillowy characters that they had in the first, I guess, two seasons, and now we've kind of taken on a little bit more of a traditional shounen look,

Yeah, Ranma and Ryoga just had a fight because one of the things that they did right away, basically, in this new season is kind of re-establish Ryoga as, like, the main rival character, both in... kind of the romantic and combat area, because I know he disappeared for a lot of last season, even as Pichon.

So we got the last couple episodes dedicated to them ramping up to fight each other, and some of the shit that they've animated has been so fluid and well done for the fighting, which is especially surprising given that it's mostly a gag comedy episode.

And then I did two Ranma half games for the Super Nintendo.

That was the second one, Bakuretsu Ran Tohena, the third one.

I don't remember the American titles.

I think they were just called Ranma and Ranma 2 or something.

And then while I was doing that, I sort of came in as the helping hand for Bare Knuckle.

And that was what I did

And Masamune Shiro, the creator of Ghost in the Shell.

Maybe I'll do the three-episode try for this, and if it's not anything that's really going anywhere for me, I'll probably drop it.

Next is Ranma 1.5 Season 3, which I'm watching.

I do hope someday he will pick up a Rumiko Takahashi work.
