Rankin Inlet

I know that they have planes that go out of Rankin Inlet that are the bigger planes in the North.

They have hubs.

They have Yellowknife and Rankin Inlet in the Far East.

And so should I try to find that map here? I just want to show everyone before we get into the...

the heart of what we're going to be talking about today um i don't know if i found that map anywhere so our arviat is kind of like on the bottom of the um right near like underneath oh here here's one jt uh let me see if i can share this Um, you know, when God begins to stir your heart, it's a, it's an interesting thing that happens.

Yeah, one leg.

It's one leg.

In the wake of these crashes, the community refused to abandon the work.

Instead, in 1985, they built a permanent Bible school in the hamlet of Rankin Inlet, dedicating the facility to the memory of the fallen and using their darkest era to train the next generation of local leaders.

Kay Gordon, she spent 70 consecutive years navigating the Arctic, dedicating her entire life to this single mission.

Her ultimate goal was for the ministry to eventually stop looking like her and start looking like the people she served.

And tho- those were all organic green, greenfield discoveries, like first hole.

And then I was lucky enough, um, I worked at the Meliadine District in, in, in Rankin Inlet, also in, in northern Canada.

And, uh, you know, I watched the discoveries unfold there, and that's now a multimillion-ounce mine with Agnico Eagle owning it.

And so I got the, the gold bug, the exploration bug, but I was also lucky enough to work on big projects and big scale, and work with geologists and mentors that wanted to teach, right, and wanted me to sow that.
