Yeah, it's just like-

I literally had a stomach surgery in two thousand and seventeen, and the reason that it is relatable to me this post is because when I was younger, at twelve years old, I did an upper GI and found that I had an ulcer.

I swallowed this fluid that coated my stomach and showed that I had an ulcer, a tiny ulcer, and I had to take Zantac when I was a kid to help with the pain.

We didn't know about H. pylori, and the doctor said, "Well, you probably have H. pylori." And I said, "Okay." But I had stomach pain when I was a kid so bad when I was in grade school, third and fourth grade, that I had to take basically Gaviscon Liquid to my school, and my teacher would let me drink it while I was in class because my stomach burned so bad.

This is from when I was a kid.

What about Zantac?

You know,

Zantac had a recall.

Mm-hmm.

Now, we all know that, which is why you keep, you know, Zantac on hand.

The old eroded esophagus.

Exactly.

I don't know your diet, so I don't know which one it is.

But if you're taking Zantac, Pepsid, Axid, Prevacid, Prilosec, Nexium, any of those things, Zegred, you got to stop taking that.

You got to wean it down.

Don't stop it.

Don, I've been doing carnivore and taking Prilosec.

Just heard you say, I have to stop.

How much do I cut it back each time and for how long? So what you need to do, Don, any of you guys that are taking Prevacid, Prilosec, Nexium, Zantac, Axid, Pepsid, Ranitidine, any of those, start taking it every other day.

And do that for a month.

Those are prescription PPIs.

And then the other bucket, the H2RAs, that would be like your Zantac, your Ranitidine, your Fomotidine, your Pepsid, which you can just buy over the counter at the pharmacy.

And so they work differently from PPIs.

But again, you should not be on them long term.

Push in what sense? Too little debt, I'm going to ask you to borrow more money.

And if you say you're uncomfortable, I'm going to ask you to take a couple of Zantac and go borrow the money anyway.

Why? You're the CFO of a company.

You can't say, debt makes me uncomfortable.

And so doctors thought they already knew how to treat ulcers.

It was surgery to cut the ulcer out, or H2 blockers like Tagamet and Zantac.

So they weren't interested.

But when there's enough patient demand, The doctors will respond by reading the research and offering it.

You know, this was a guy who actually had an antacid company take an ad out for him to thank him for selling all the extra antacid.

That was Zantac, and that became his trademark.

And let me tell you, if you were a Yankee fan, you were popping a couple of those antacids in the ninth inning.

And this game, Al, was kind of a microcosm of the series as a whole because the Yankees had very few chances in the game.
