the Peruvian Cusco's Sacra literally translates to mischievous in English.

When one looks at the masks of the Diablada, they bear a striking resemblance to the Raksha masks of Sri Lanka, or the face of the Maha Kolasenia demon of sickness, or the Balinese masks of Rangda, the demon queen.

We will examine these entities in more detail in later chapters.
