Randall Boggs

Oh, yeah.

Randall, what's your handle, Silva? Our man of the cloth, it's...

Reverend Bruce.

Nate.

It seems an awful lot like a hibachi place when we show up, but all right.

In the locker room, Mike's talking about saying she's the one, but he can't shut his locker, which is a nice sort of running joke for later.

Reveal of Randall and his superpowers that he can cloak himself.

It's like a comedian, which is good.

aye

Rango he's similar no Randall Boggs I didn't know that was the surname that's his fucking Sunday name Mad Randy Boggs Mr Boggs Yeah, they've got a...

Right.

That's the same guy, man.

Yeah.

I think if I had to pick one, I would go like Randall Boggs.

would be fun uh for halloween like a solo halloween next year like headless horseman would be fun

perfect yeah

Dark red crab-like monster with one eye.

Randall Randy Boggs.

I can't write these down fast enough.

Randall Randy Boggs.

A long

and flexible lizard-like monster.

Music by Randy Newman, editing by Robert Graham Jones and Jim Stewart.

Starring Billy Crystal as Mike Wazowski, Mary Gibbs as Boo, Steve Buscemi as Randall Boggs, John Goodman as James P. Sully Sullivan.

James Coburn as Henry J. Waternoose, Jennifer Tilly as Celia May, Bob Peterson as Roz, John Ratzenberger as Yeti, or also known as the Abominable Snowman, Frank Oz as Fungus, and Daniel Gerson himself as Needleman and Smitty.

Background for the movie, Monsters, Inc. was released on November 2, 2001, making this its 25th anniversary, if you can believe that.

In Monsters, Inc., monsters power their world using children's screams.

The top scarer, Sully, John Goodman, and his best friend Mike Wazowski, Billy Crystal, accidentally let a little girl named Boo into their world.

As they hide her, they uncover a sinister plot by the scheming Randall, Steve Buscemi, and their boss, Mr. Waternoose, James Colburn.

In the end, they discover that laughter is far more powerful than screams.

I'm Celia.

And I'm Randall.

And we're your Reptile Girlies.

I said, and I'm Randall, which isn't like the usual way of saying it, but it's fine.

Did you just flip me off with your right finger? You only have three fingers.

I did.

So we're very podcast color.

We match.

But as kids, like that's a real fearful moment.

That whole that whole scene of Randall like hunting her.

right hunting for boo and and getting scared and hiding like it feels like one of those traditional parts of a horror movie right where the villain is closing in on the victim and the victim's hiding and trying not to make a sound but you're you're like whimpering like it's very much like that and then

that randall can go invisible you don't know

Yeah, it's scary

stuff.

As a kid, I would have been as scared to sleep at night because I would have been like, oh, Randall's totally my monster.

He's coming for me.

So, uh, let's round off our characters with our two villains.

We have Mr. Steve Buscemi as Randall and James Coburn, legendary actor, as Henry J. Waternoose.

So what did you make of these two, Keith?

I mean, as I said before, they are very stereotypical bad guys.

That's a thing, I guess.

I, I agree.

It is kinda ridiculous, but I, I also agree when you say that, uh, it's great that they, they m- they made them like this where Randall was a chameleon and, uh, Waternoose is like a mixture of like a spider and a crustacean.

It's, uh...

Mike Wazowski and Sulley.

And then there's Randall.

He's the purple one.

He's the- he's the villain, Steve Buscemi's character.

Well, there is a lifelong fan of Randall from Monsters, Inc. Um, her name is Nikki.

She has autism, and she loves Randall.

That's her favorite Disney character.

Um, and she loves Steve Buscemi.
