When I look at the, the state of the world, although to be honest, I, I wouldn't even say The Hungry Moon was the obvious, um, you know, the obvious metaphor for what's going on these days.

It was actually done as an episode of Twilight Zone, and then was one of the four stories in the film, The Twilight Zone, uh, which is essentially called It's a Good Life! With a, with a, with an exclamation mark.

And, and the, the basis of the story is a, of, of an overgrown, um, child with extreme power who, you know, when, whenever anything he doesn't like happens around him, he simply, you know, uses his, his, his psychic powers to, to, to, to transform his enemies into something dreadful and, and throw them into the middle of a field.

Or, oh, you know, we- wield his power in, in that sort of a way.

Now, talk about the notion of an overgrown child with ultimate power, and everybody else around him terrified to intervene.
