brain is damaged, they're not going to perform, right?
24:37
And so that's really been kind of a big crux and push for our company, which is like, how do we leverage all this incredible work we're doing with our health partners in the military to help people track their brain span and see what changes can help? And I'll give you just a quick story.
24:56
My brain age is typically around like 35 to 40 on most days.
25:03
And I wanted to take an active step toward making it better.
25:08
So I did some research.
25:10
I saw what other people were doing to improve their brain.
25:12
Obviously, sleep is the biggest one.

How far along your mission in terms of what you want to achieve do you think you are now and what's left for you to achieve?
9:37
How did Neurable adapt to the technology to find this viable business model? And how many times did it pivot towards different fields to find the niche or the market?
9:48
Yeah, that's a great question.
9:50
And I think that's one of the most fascinating parts about the chapter of the book.
9:54
Our vision has always been, how do we make this into everyday devices? We've always thought about headphones and earbuds and AR glasses and things like that.
10:02
But back when we started in 2016, we still needed a lot of electrodes to make it work well.
10:09
And so we started in the VR space.
10:12
And then one big lesson that we learned is don't build a startup on a startup.
14:05
I'm curious to know if you, out of those five, if you needed to make any trade-off between, let's say, accuracy or battery life or cost, that you have to navigate because there is nothing like you can do about that if you want to reach the mass market.
7:42
So what clinically useful information comes from an EEG?
7:47
It's literally the most powerful sensing device in the world, right? Everything from neurodiverse conditions, so think, you know, ADHD, think depression, right? To neurodegenerative diseases, so think Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, you know, dementia.
8:03
It's been used for so many applications.
8:07
The problem is, you know, it's like this one joke in...
8:12
in that I heard when I was going to school at the University of Michigan for my PhD, we're really good at curing cancer and rats, right? And EEG is really good at identifying brain diseases, but requires this giant setup and tons and tons of data collected over months, right? But if you can bring it down to something that's an everyday device and still make it reliable, now you're able to tap into those value propositions And the thing is, this device is something that you wear every day.
8:42
Like most of our users wear this one to three hours a day.
8:45
They're just sitting there listening to music, watching podcasts.

Do you think a device like this could help on the field? Yeah.
