He's not going to play this year.

I feel like you don't necessarily need Ramon Laureano because of what Dustin Harris, Samad Taylor, down the line has done.

Like last year, I think there were a bunch of questions and then Laureano got hurt in the final week, which is not what anyone is hoping for this year, anything like that.

But there are still six games left before we get there and have to make those decisions.

Obviously, like the matchup matters too, what pitchers are going to be facing.

Even Manny Machado, who's been pretty up and down over the course of the season, uh, 122 WRC+ in September, so he's starting to come alive.

I saw that r- uh, Ramon Laureano said it was like a 5% chance he could return for the playoffs.

But man, to see the bats come alive like this, pretty sick.

From our buddy Chibrox, just wish that Ramon Laureano, that Ramon Laureano wasn't hurt and he was in this run with the rest of the team right now would be huge for us during the postseason.

That is a bummer.

And it sounds like Ramon's busting it to give himself any opportunity to be available for the postseason.

And it might take them winning.

a series or two for that to be the case but then you have to factor in like are you gonna pull dustin harris if he's doing what he's doing like even some odd taylor if he continues to do what he's doing he had a big day on thursday um you know it's i there are certain plug-in play players you know if when tatis is healthy when machado is healthy when merrill is healthy ty france is getting that place when he's healthy you just put them in the lineup and whoever's there like the Appreciate your service, but this is our guy.

I don't know that Ramon Laureano, given the start that he had to the year and given what other guys are doing right now, it might not be the case.

But he's also the type of guy that I think would just like to be active on the roster.

Perhaps Padres can go ahead and work in a new number two hitter.

I did see that, uh, Ramon Laur- that Ramon Laureano, that Miguel Andújar playing left field for El Paso for, for the Chihuahua's, so hopefully he is back soon.

Then I also saw the, uh, the piece, the interview that, um, Dennis Lin of The Athletic did with Ramon Laureano.

I, Darren, I really thought that we would never see Laurea- I thought he was done.

Like, he hasn't been around Petco Park, but he's been rehabbing in Arizona, and he is leaving it out there that he might be able to get back.

Giolito, Estrada, Luis Renjifo, a surgery scheduled this week.

The other two guys in Arizona, Ramon Laureano is rehabbing, and then Gavin Sheets began hitting progression in Arizona.

So we'll see if they can get him back at some point.
