What does this mandate actually involve? How are you thinking about building platforms that can support decision-making, innovation, productivity outcomes across the enterprise?
3:20
Our strategy as a company on the technology side is really to kind of move towards a much more platform-centric work rather than application-centric or defining use cases and then executing them independently.
3:34
What platform ownership gives us is really reusable foundations that we can use to reduce rework around the organization and move away from funding isolated AI projects that don't add to the sum total of what the company needs.
3:49
The objective is to give teams governed data, a shared set of AI infrastructure and services that can be reusable as well as scalable, a common engineering methodology, and then a reusable set of capabilities above the platform that the rest of the company can use for building AI solutions that scale and are repeatable over time and highly maintainable.

So that is the intent of building out our platform capabilities as an organization.
4:19
I started leading our AI and data platforms over the last, you know, about six, eight months.
4:25
And it's really been a journey of looking around the organization, take the enthusiasm that the company is, you know, starting to build around AI, and then codifying that into something that's much more scalable for the company in terms of the platforms that my teams are breathing within FIs.
