The weekend of Godzilla is gonna be really interesting because earlier this week Sony announced that they're gonna be releasing Ramayana on that weekend.

So there's gonna be a lot of splitting going on.

My feeling is that the IMAX 70mm's gonna stay with Odyssey.

And then Ramayana's gonna go to specific IMAX theaters in neighborhoods with heavy Indian diaspora communities, while Godzilla gets the majority of it because it is deceitful to a Godzilla film that really broke out.

I am beyond curious as to how well that does.

It'll do fine.

And that was seen at the time, because I remember this, by this time I was at the wrap and we were doing a lot of future of AI articles.

We live in a multilingual society.

So any text that I approach, whether I'm working on the Mahabharata or the Ramayana, there is already poly-vocality in the sense that many languages and many writers in different languages, many literatures have worked on those things.

So, when we present the Mahabharata, people are startled that there are so many versions of the Gita in Urdu or the Mahabharata in Urdu or in Persian, there are so many poems to, quotes to Lord Krishna.

Similarly for Ramayana.

So, there is a, we, you know, I try and there is a, you know, both, it's all our legacy.

The world of Sanskrit, the world of Persian, the world of Urdu, the world of medieval Hindi and we bring all that together in the spoken word.

However, I'm going to be there on opening weekend because this is also near the top of my must-see list.

A high-profile international film named Ramayana is also hitting theaters in the US on November 6th.

It is the first of two films from India based on the Hindu epic poem, and it's credited as the most expensive Indian film ever made, featuring music from both Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman.

This looks to be the biggest ever global release of a film from India, and I think it might be one of those Indian films that enters the box office conversation, not just for how well it's doing in its home country, but for how well it's doing around the world.

Like even in KGF, you can't deny it.

Like he's going to maybe even eat up Ranbir Kapoor in Ramayana, right? Like he has that presence, right? Imagine if

Ravan wins in this Ramayana.

Like in real world, you know, like maybe it's based on reality.

Sujo, you just said, you know, top five movies and I'm already dreading making the top 10 of this year.

Imagine how we want to do that, you know? We've been like, end of August, September is going to start.

What else is remaining? Like, are we really looking forward to King? Ramayana.
