Rabin was the Minister of Defense on the Labor side, very important character in the Labor Party.

And then I went on a journey to Jewish textuality to gain more Jewish literacy, having been brought up in Ramat Aviv, which is like the stronghold of the Israeli secular intelligentsia.

I wanted to have access to the Jewish canon, and I also wanted to become a rabbi because I felt that in the rabbinate, ideas come to life.
