Ramachandra Guha

Interesting.

Side recommendation, Ramachandra Guha's, uh, India After Gandhi.

Wow.

It's always a good, uh, recommendation, Ramachandra Guha books.

Okay, great.

Um, on that note, I believe, uh, the spotlight is back on you, Ami, so give us a question.

So go check out The Return as well.

Yeah, that, I think that's, uh...

It's not out yet, but you can possibly preorder it already.

There's a book that is a little more political but a very very interesting read it's called advantage india reshaping the future of an equitable world order this is by anil anthony a lot on tech policy in particular in that and finally a book i'm really enjoying i haven't really gotten through uh it fully yet it's called arguments with gandhi by ramchandra guha he really talks and this is somebody who's been a biographer who's written so many other great books um he talks about the pushback to Gandhi's big ideas from the leaders of that time.

So on nonviolence, on justice, on pluralism, not just Indian leaders, but international ones as well.

I hope you enjoy reading that.

But To be honest, as I really thought about it, I don't think such a category exists because there are so many types of history and different qualities are needed in each.

So, you know, when I think about Indian history, you know, Ramachandra Guha or William Dalrymple are just amazing.

very different people.

They focus on very different eras.
