Ralph Johnson

It's

Verdine, Phillip, and Ralph Johnson.

Okay.

And I'm pleased if I get Verdine and Phillip.

Right.

And who better to talk to than the three gentlemen joining me now? Joining me now are Verde White, Ralph Johnson, and Philip Bailey, the enduring, fantastic original members of the greatest funk and R&B band in musical history, Earth, Wind & Fire.

I want to let you all know that the HBO documentary Earth, Wind & Fire, to be Celestial vs. That's the Weight of the World, directed by our friend Amir Questlove-Thompson, debuted on HBO and Max on June 7.

It is so good.

We are headed for Santa Barbara after we do our second night here in Sacramento.

We're headed for Santa Barbara and then down to San Diego.

i love it uh the only thing that would be better than this would be getting you all to record my ringtone so that every time somebody called me they could hear reasons because that would be my dream but i will forego that just because i had the honor of being able to chat with you guys while you guys are on tour thank you so much for taking the time on the 21st night of september uh philip bailey ralph johnson verdine white you all are legends thank you for what you've done for the Love you all.

And there's nothing you can do about it.

There's 20-something members, or have been, of Earth, Wind & Fire.

Ralph Johnson is still with us.

Oh, thank God.

He's also 75 years old.

Um, Philip Bailey was a percussionist.

You know, Ralph Johnson.
