We had to go in and utilize the techniques that Coach Raleigh Jackson and his staff are teaching to extract the ball from the ball carrier and did a great job on recovering those to give us extra possessions.

And that's something we will have to do from now until the end of the season.

Right, and you mentioned Caleb Bridges a little bit ago.

They weren't lined up right.

Raleigh Jackson was, was pretty, uh, upset with that and did not, he didn't felt like that their, um, defense played to the standards.

And there's a pass, the guy's wide open, there's nobody within 15 yards of him.

You know, it's one, again, it's one thing to get beat one-on-one.

We always want to be in the right gap and be in the right area, and if the athlete out-athletes us, that happens in college football.

So we've got a few things we want to get back on defense, and Coach Raleigh Jackson, Coach Joe Jackson, our secondary coach who's here with us tonight, we're not running from it, we're not hiding from it because we have a tough, tough task this week, not only because it's the next one, but because the receivers they have in Tennessee Tech this is the best receiver core in all of fcs

well so you get through this game and we talked about the penalties what you have for the game like two penalties for the one or two penalties for the entire game there were some other things that that were good to you at 34 minutes of possession i mean you were able to stay on the field at some points and i mean i realized in a game like that you know mike elko is going to make changes as to who's in the game and things like that too but uh did do a better job keeping them out of the end zone certainly in the second half and uh missed some opportunities on plays that were they they had those big long defensive ends that you always talk about that fourth down play early in the game where you're on their side of midfield those defensive ends are probably why that ball is is incomplete i tell you what uh It's nothing like having length on

the football

And we're, uh, we're trying to improve every week, and, uh, try and play that perfect game.

So, uh, Coach Raleigh Jackson has really got those guys fired up.

And, um, Joe Jackson is our, uh, secondary coach and coaches the corners.

And, uh, Gio Riccardi, uh, coaches the safeties.
