Rainbow Bar and Grill

Yeah.

Was that it? No, it was Rainbow Bar or one of those.

I can't remember.

I know that there's, uh, there's this, this charity.

And therefore, traveling is hell.

One year, some friends and I decided we'd all congregate in Los Angeles for Thanksgiving and go to the Rainbow Bar and Grill on Sunset, you know, the famous rock and roll hangout, because they do an all-you-can-eat Thanksgiving buffet.

And The airport on that day was probably the worst I've ever seen it.

And, you know, I travel internationally to go back to England for Christmas.

Christmas flights not even close to the airport on Thanksgiving.

The only thing worse than the airport on Thanksgiving was the shame I was made to feel at the Rainbow Bar and Grill when the lady came around and said, who's ready for some dessert? And I said, dessert? I've only had two plates of main course so far.

This isn't all you can eat buffet.

I'm not anywhere near close to being done with turkey.

Good afternoon.

Um, about seven years ago, uh, my family and, uh, my partner, we went over there, visited, um, Disneyland and whatnot, and my partner and I one night decided to head out for the night and go to the Rainbow Bar & Grill in, uh, I think it's Hollywood there.

Uh, West Hollywood.

And, um-

I mean, just like, they, they don't wanna, they don't wanna sit down for comedy.

I used to do a comedy show at the Rainbow Bar & Grill upstairs.

Oh, yeah.

And it was, it was a pretty good turnout.

Uh-huh.

It was far.

The Rainbow Bar & Grill, that one was cool.

I'm all about it.

She'd spend her weekends partying in Hollywood with the rock star elite.

I was like going up to L.A., hanging out at the Rainbow Bar and Grill, partying with Motley Crue.

I had no business partying with Motley Crue.

And if you've seen The Dirt, it's exactly like that.

Their names were Lori Maddox and Sable Starr.

He spotted them on the Sunset Strip at the Rainbow Bar and Grill and had his bodyguard bring them to his suite at the Continental Hyatt House.

And get this, he was married, and his wife gave him free rein to sleep with children.

This rock star is David Bowie.

He was trying to go abroad or to the Finnish consulate, and he had to go abroad and go down there.

And we went down to the Rainbow Bar and Grill.

We got to get our pictures in front of the Lemmy statue down in California.

He was top of mind.
