I don't even know Michelle Rodriguez's name in the movie.

The Umbrella version one is Rain.

This one, I don't know.

And then it's also, [laughs] they also learn from the AI that, like, once somebody gets bit- They turn.

And I can understand if they're like, "Well, we can't trust this AI, so we'll, we'll keep Rain with us," you know? But then again, they see two other people turn who have been bit, but they still keep her around.

Yep.

I d- it made no sense.

Too many characters, not enough development.

When Alice's character give, gives Rain the antidote-

yeah and i was like and then when we're getting mr gigolo in there i was like the fuck is happening

yeah like they're setting it up like she's seemingly married to carlos uh in this suburb like maybe where the outbreak didn't happen like we don't like it seems like it's a nice peaceful whatever and she has a deaf daughter but at breakfast carlos is attacked by a zombie and the outbreak is here So Alice and her daughter Becky escape into the attic, and after making it to the street, we meet Rain, who is seemingly Alice's neighbor.

And,

like, super nice?

Like this movie is really just playing the hits.

Oh, look, you've seen Carlos.

You've seen Rain.

Laser hallway.

Yeah, that's an insane moment.

The implication, because they're also there, is that Alice, Rain, and Carlos, at least, were never like necessarily actual people in the real world, but even the versions of them that we first met were clones created by the Umbrella Corporation.

I didn't take, I only took it as that Alice was the base model.

I didn't realize that the Wikipedia descriptions back was up with Carlos and rain are, are cloned from DNA.

Like, who else are the base models? Well, the characters we see a lot, she says base models more than one.

And the characters we see a lot of are these characters we found.

Because Alice, keep in mind, we met as part of the Umbrella Corporation, not really all that different from Rain.

I feel like this is maybe a plot thread that we shouldn't poke at too hard.
