I think she's in Jalisco or in Oaxaca now.

She was working with Raicilla producers in Cabo Corrientes, which is in western Jalisco, to see kinda what agro-ecological techniques they use to grow their agave, what techniques can be scaled and then applied to the tequila industry to kinda help mitigate some of the environmental impacts of that category.

The conservation grant went to a really, really wonderful group named Tierra del Jaguar, which operates in Sonora, just south of the US-Mexico border.

And they actually do watershed restoration of the Sahuaripa River Watershed in northern Sonora, and they do that through planting Agave angustafolia.
