Raging Speedhorn

I don't like the whole album being one song.

And then I go back and I'll go back to James and I'll go, well, James, I quite liked Orange Goblin now, but what about Raging Speedhorn you've suggested me there? That's kind of like that, isn't it? And then slowly we gain trust and I keep going back to you and going, okay, this works for me.

This doesn't.

And this book feels very much like that.

Wow.

Like really, really kind of raw, k- like they made Raging Speedhorn look like Justin Bieber.

[laughs]

Um, but yeah, so that, that was coming here, and I was sort of picking up what I could from there.

And then weirdly got into drum and bass and jungle at quite a young age because it was, you know, really popular.

then um and then my first gig was uh Raging Speedhorn and Il Nino at Manchester Academy and I remember going and I just loved music so much and oh I just loved Raging Speedhorn and um I was so excited to watch them but I didn't really ever think about jobs in music and this was the first time I'd ever been to a gig um I'd never seen a guy stood behind a desk before doing the sound for a gig or, you know, line checking the guitars or setting up the drum kit.

I just thought that is so cool.

that you can do a job in music and not have to be the person playing an instrument.
