Will BuxtonHOST
44:12
So he's not going to be in Brazil.
Will BuxtonHOST
44:15
Will Ferrari release Rafa Camara early enough to...
Will BuxtonHOST
44:18
Is
Naomi SchiffHOST
44:18
he done with F2?
Daniel MoxonPANELIST
22:39
Because Ocon, we know he's losing his seat at the end of the year anyway.
Daniel MoxonPANELIST
22:42
That's already been given to Rafael Camara for 2027.
Daniel MoxonPANELIST
22:45
But this is looking like it's going to be a sour ending to that driver team partnership.
Richard GarnettHOST
22:50
Well, we've still got a number of races to get through this season.
Ian ParkesHOST
49:18
I'm going to call it right here, right now.
Ian ParkesHOST
49:20
You're going to see Rafael Camara in the car, certainly in Brazil, and I believe then for the rest of the season as well.
Ian ParkesHOST
49:26
Yeah.
Ian ParkesHOST
49:26
It's a big claim.
Ian ParkesHOST
49:29
You've got...
Ian ParkesHOST
49:30
But why not? Why not? You've got four...
Ian ParkesHOST
49:33
There's nothing to lose for Rafael Camara.
Ian ParkesHOST
49:35
Why wait until next season when you can give him a four-race cameo to get up to speed with the car, with the team, with a race engineer, and... at least then he will have this platform to then go into next season.
JamieHOST
16:44
He's
MattHOST
16:45
still getting these FP1 sessions, which, of course, were agreed on a very long time ago, obviously, before anything with Rafael Camara.
MattHOST
16:50
But you think, we're in Brazil next weekend.
MattHOST
16:53
It looks a bit stupid if Hirokawa's in the car rather than Camara, if Ocon isn't.
LawVSHOST
3:02
Certainly better in the circumstances that Ocon left Alpine.
LawVSHOST
3:05
and Haas had already signed up their replacement for next year, Rafael Camara.
LawVSHOST
3:09
So these final outings for Esteban would be mainly about him trying to flirt with other potential suitors in Formula 1 about how he could be their man for the following year.
LawVSHOST
3:19
They both, Haas and Esteban, needed each other to reach their full potential for their end-of-season objectives.
KathrynHOST
8:40
So the likelihood of them forcing him to stay in the Haas car that he's not going to win a race in is incredibly slim.
KathrynHOST
8:48
So what does that mean of who could drive for Haas in Sao Paulo? The two options are future Haas driver Rafael Camara and Jack Dewan, who is also a reserve driver for Haas.
KathrynHOST
9:00
Now, Camara, interestingly, is currently scheduled to do FP1 for Ferrari.
KathrynHOST
9:05
And Ferrari needs to do an FP1 session in Sao Paulo because the two best tracks to do that coming to the end of the year are... are Sao Paulo and Abu Dhabi.
EricHOST
48:47
Do you, what is it?
TanyaHOST
48:48
He is out at the end of this year and Rafael Camara is, We'll be replacing him in the 2027 year.
TanyaHOST
48:56
Who's that? I don't know.
TanyaHOST
48:57
21-year-old Brazilian.

5 MINS LATER

BradHOST
54:23
I think it depends on how the next two seasons go.
BradHOST
54:25
It's going to be a Kimi dynasty.
BradHOST
54:28
I think it's going to be Rafael Camara.
EricHOST
54:31
You never know.
KathrynHOST
17:03
Jack Crawford will be back in the car for Aston Martin, this time for Lance Stroll.
KathrynHOST
17:08
Interesting here with Haas is instead of going with the replacement for Esteban Ocon, taking over for Ocon this weekend, who is, of course, Rafael Camara, they're going with Rhea Harikawa, the other captain.
KathrynHOST
17:21
Haas reserve driver instead, which I think is kind of interesting.
KathrynHOST
17:25
Don't know.
Josh SuttillGUEST
34:42
You could put a cap on how many FB1s you're allowed because that sort of stops...
Josh SuttillGUEST
34:46
the same drivers getting the seat to kind of fill the requirements so if you really want to put in say camara endlessly to prepare for next year you're allowed to but that won't count to your allowance beyond say two do you think that could make sense because it just makes me feel like let's say the camara one you know that only happened because hass was really kind of bold and innovative and kind of had that classic shootout and it always just makes you think like if the some drivers unaffiliated to F1 teams were just given a chance for one day in an F1 car like that's all it was it was one day in an F1 car for Camaro at Portimao that swung things you know who else would be unearthed who else would get that chance and I worry there's definitely a huge bias to basically anyone who's affiliated with F1 teams which I know is more or less half of the junior drivers but I feel for those who who aren't picked up by F1 teams because they could be doing a really good job in F two or even in sports cars or somewhere else but they never ever get the chance because they're not affiliated with an f1 team so maybe some kind of mandating but if you are in the top three in f2 you get some kind of fp1 or there's some some kind of system where on merit you then get given an fp1 outing and then i don't know you write that cost off for the teams or there's some kind of play there or kind of they get something in return for
Edd StrawHOST
35:55
doing so it's almost tempting just to say in fp1 every race weekend you have to run someone in one of the sessions, I don't think they'll go for that.
Edd StrawHOST
36:02
They won't go for that.
TeeksHOST
4:15
I just wanted to touch on that TPC testing thing because I don't know if you heard, but when they did it, they evaluated all their drivers, including Behrmann as well.
TeeksHOST
4:24
And Camaro is apparently the fastest guy.
RiriHOST
4:28
There you go.
RiriHOST
4:29
So it makes sense to pick the guy that's the quickest.
