And then Raphael Albuquerque is on the art.
PeterHOST
I just gave up after a while.
MattHOST
It's like...
PeterHOST
It's far too wordy.
PeterHOST
Honestly, this was a chore to get through this issue.
MattHOST
There's certain names that I recognize and I can kind of pull from it, but because it's been so exposition heavy with every issue, You know, which is a shame when you have Albuquerque art, because if it was a different kind of story, we could just really rely on the art to get us through there.
MattHOST
But when you have to do the hey, remember this meeting? You remember back when this and you remember back when we poisoned Connor to remove him as a suspect and all that? I was like, oh, yeah, that was a thing that happened.
AF ParkerHOST
It's immaculate.
AF ParkerHOST
And then Albuquerque's line work, the color palettes that they use in this book, especially now during spooky season, these are the books that people want to be reading during Halloween season.
AF ParkerHOST
It's so good, and I don't think that I have anything bad to say about this.
AF ParkerHOST
That could be biased because I really love the Absolute books, and I love the Absolute Green Arrow books.
KyleHOST
I think just the little bit of touch of her powers, which seemed rather overpowered, basically an earthquake level of powers.
KyleHOST
And then Albuquerque's art, I just have to, this might be like his best, like really might be his best, this book.
KyleHOST
And he's, you know, arguably one of the best.
KyleHOST
So that's, yeah, that's some pages that would be interested, especially the earthquake.

Trauma tourism is a great way to put it.
speaker_1HOST
So what does Slott and Albuquerque do? They filter this terrifying scenario through the lens of Silver Age absurdity and incredibly vibrant art.
speaker_0HOST
Right.
speaker_1HOST
It's priced at $5.99 and achieved a ratio of 71.9.
speaker_0HOST
And on the DC side, breaking up the Batman monopoly, we have rank five, Absolute Green Arrow number 1 by Pornsak Pichetshote and Rafael Albuquerque.
speaker_1HOST
Right.
speaker_0HOST
It costs $4.99 and has a ratio of 66.0. And then rounding out the top 10 list at rank 10 is Absolute Catwoman number 1, co-written by Che Grayson and Scott Snyder with art by Bengal.
speaker_0HOST
Okay.
speaker_1HOST
Yeah.
speaker_1HOST
Rafael Albuquerque drew him not as a handsome, swashbuckling archer, but as a grizzled, weathered hunter.
speaker_0HOST
They really give the readers a deep, dark, uncompromised dive into the character.
JaceHOST
Speaking of easy calls, Absolute Green Arrow, number five, coming in at number three.
JaceHOST
PornSec, Pichachote, Raphael, Albuquerque.
JaceHOST
The surprising thing for me was it coming in at three.
JaceHOST
I actually honestly thought it would be higher, maybe at two or even one.
