Radiant Black

Yeah.

Uh, let's talk Radiant Black #44, last comic on the stack from Image Comics written by Kyle Higgins and Joe Clark, art by Marcelo Costa.

Um, this is continuing this just, uh, I mean, it has ...

It's an epic story where we've ...

But, like, the fact that somebody just found this out, that Amazon is tracking the stuff you buy and building out interests for you.

Like, part of my page was like, "Oh, here are all the authors that you follow on Amazon." Of course I'm gonna follow Kelly Thompson, who wrote the Jem comic, uh, 11 years ago, or Kyle Higgins, who wrote Nightwing or currently writes the, uh, Radiant Black comic for Image C- Like, it just really felt like ano- Like, I was expecting to find, uh, some weird Amazon hidden trick.

"Oh my God, here's all the porns you bought from us last month." Like, no.

There was n- Like, the way that article makes it out to be, like, oh my God, here's all the hidden stuff Amazon did.

They, uh, they are turning 40 this year, so they're having a panel on Friday.

Um, Image Comics presents Kyle Higgins, and then says of Radiant Black and Massive Verse.

Now, I put this one in here...

Uh, now admittedly, I'm not a huge fan of the, uh, Radiant Black verse myself, but I know it is wildly popular.

I know for a lot of people that's like one of their favorite non-big two, you know, um, comic families.

So put it in there.

But-

This one is, is more of a Milligan cut, uh, Radiant Black.

Time out real quick.

Before we m- move on from the, uh, Incredible Hulk, I had to look up what was Peter David's run on Hulk.

... big fan of that, so.

Okay, and then, uh, y- you mentioned that you're also reading Radiant-

Radiant Black.

I've been reading a, like...

From DC, Marvel, and Image to IDW, Boom Studios, and Zenescope, we have everything right here.

We cover things like Transformers, He-Man, superheroes, TMNT, and Radiant Black.

Yeah, we have all that and so much more.

It's all inside the Pullbag here on the GeekCast Radio Network.

Using the extraordinary to highlight how completely exhausting it is just to be a regular person.

Which brings us perfectly to a book called Radiant Black, created by writer Kyle Higgins and artist Marcelo Costa.

This is a brilliant fresh spin on the classic superhero formula.

It really is.

Kyle Higgins is writing the reality.

In a traditional comic, gaining powers elevates you above your problems.

But in Radiant Black, here's where it gets really interesting.

Nathan's life is already completely falling apart before the alien power ever shows up.

There's still some things that are left we don't know about for sure, but I don't mind talking about most of this.

On Wednesday, October 21st at 6 p.m., we will have Kyle Higgins... who right now writes Radiant Black, is writing Teen Titans, is writing Lara Croft G.I. Joe, or Tomb Raider G.I. Joe, and is writing next week's Challengers main book, Escape from New York, colon, Escape from Chicago.

Snake Plissken in Chicago.

Yep.
