Radha Mitchell

The screenplay was written by Roger Avery, and it is, of course, based on the Silent Hill video game series by Konami.

The film stars Radha Mitchell, Sean Bean in his horrible American accent, Laurie Holden, Deborah Cara Unger, Kim Coates, Tanya Allen, the Borg Queen Alice Krieg, and Jodel Furland.

The budget was $50 million, that is $82 million adjusted for inflation.

The box office was $100 million.

that knew Warren Beatty? He very well may have.

Our connection, which, by the way, this is our theory that no matter the movie, we have a prevailing theory that everything connects back to Warren Beatty because of how many women he slept with.

Our connection here is through Radha Mitchell, who did not sleep with Warren Beatty.

I was going to say

For the cast, we have obviously Vin Diesel, because we plugged him right at the beginning of the episode, playing Riddick.

Radha Mitchell playing Fry.

Cole Hauser playing Johns.

Man, it always blows my mind that that's Cole Hauser.

The story unfolds as a mysterious toxin begins to transform the town's residents into violent psychopaths.

Sheriff David Dutton, played by Timothy Olyphant, finds himself in a desperate struggle to protect his pregnant wife, Judy, played by Radha Mitchell, and a few other uninfected townspeople as they attempt to escape the chaos.

The film opens with a seemingly idyllic portrayal of small-town America, complete with a sunny day and a baseball game.

However, this peaceful scene is quickly shattered when a local farmer, Rory Hamill, wanders onto the field with a shotgun, forcing Sheriff Dutton to take drastic action.

Timothy Olyphant delivers a solid performance as Sheriff Dutton, embodying the character's determination and resilience.

While his role doesn't offer much depth, Olyphant's presence adds a layer of credibility to the film.

Radha Mitchell and Joe Anderson, who plays Deputy Russell, also contribute effectively to the ensemble, though their characters are somewhat underdeveloped.

One of the film's strengths lies in its ability to create a sense of dread and urgency.

Uh, Rogue, I don't want to say that right now.

Oh, it's, like, Radha Mitchell.

Mm-hmm.

Oh, yeah.

Radha Mitchell.

From Pitch Black, right? Isn't it her?

Um, there's another one called Killer Crocodile, which is, uh, just a, just probably a shit movie.

No, no, wait a minute.

Um, like the main character in the video game is male.

In this one it's, you know, Radha Mitchell.

It's um, it's a mother-

Mm-hmm

Hmm.

You know? Because-

Just like, just like the, just like Alessa entered Radha Mitchell's character to-

Exactly, yeah.

Oh, there you go.

And Radha Mitchell's in there.

I forgot, always forget that.

Oh, I love Radha Mitchell.

She was in Silent Hill.

Yeah.

Because of the possibility of the virus being carried out, there's a chance that they have to bomb the town." We were going to end it with the two lovers, after having been separated, running towards each other, and just before they reach each other on the screen, the screen was going to go white, and they were going to destroy the town with a bomb.

But we didn't do that." Interestingly, this ending is probably closer to that of the 2010 remake, which I have to admit is rather good, including the performances from Timothy Olyphant and Radha Mitchell.

It's certainly slicker than the original, although given that this was made for $250,000 and the remake for $20 million, one would certainly hope that that was the case.

Personally, I have to say I prefer the narrative of the original, with its emphasis on military incompetence as much as on the survival of the heroes, but the remake is certainly a very enjoyable and well-made spin on the story.

For me, the worst aspect, other than the purple-dressed hippie girl, is the film's score.

A combination of insistent military drumming, Civil War songs and occasional banjo, it is effective in small doses, but it is overused and overemphasised across most of the movie, making a very strong argument that sometimes less is more.

As we've heard, the film was remade in 2010 with Timothy Olyphant and Radha Mitchell and received generally positive reviews.

Made for a budget of $20 million, it grossed $54 million in the US.

We had an all-volunteer fire department up there, so...

in the backwoods of new york it's cool because i was just thinking of um uh who played rose um Kay Winslet? Radha Mitchell.

I see what you did there.

Yeah.
