Do you prefer one, or it's, like, role-based?

Uh, yeah.

Role-ba- yeah, you know, I should say role-ba- I prefer films because there's more time, I guess.

And you can, you can, you can play with what's acceptable.

People are looking to kind of subvert formulas, you know, that's kind of the space.

And you've got more time.

Um, I think television is- Provides kind of, um, you know, the long format.

Oh

I mean, great performances, beautifully shot.

He was the audience.

My reaction was I just love this character.

And when I read the script, I felt it was quite original.

Setting it in Australia felt like something kind of like a signature piece for this place.

And it read as like taught and kind of precise in the way it is.

And I think Sandra did a great job of just keeping it, keeping it moving, keeping it very kind of silent, but surprising.

I bet there

How long did you guys have before shooting to sort of bond and, and learn how to shoot? [laughs]

We kind of bonded on set really, and bonded even post, post the shoot.

There's other kind of things that have brought us all together, which has been great.

Um, but on set we rehearsed in studio, uh, with, with a trained, um, military sniper.

And, uh, so we had his kind of wisdom.

And then we were taken to a shooting range finally.

Uh, and I was sort of like, "Oh my God, this is, you know, h- how, how's this all gonna work?" 'Cause it, it's kind of a challenge actually to even hold those weapons.

Uh...

Yeah.

And, um, and then certainly, you know, the heroism of those who fight to protect us and, and the burden that they carry.

Let, let's not forget that.

I think those are the sort of resonant aspects of the story.

But it's entertainment as well, and, um, I hope that the tension, you know, holds your attention, keeps you wondering what's gonna happen next, and that there's satisfaction at the end when everybody gets their due, so to speak.

They're all three-dimensional."

Yeah.

Well, I love that it's not overlaid with like, you know, a whole lot of dialogue and exposition.
