A lot of birds do.

Most of our songbirds do.

A lot of shorebirds do.

A lot of waterfowl.

And the primary reason is hawks migrate during the day because they need the thermals, the warm currents of air caused by the sun.

And they're not using powered flight.

So a lot of songbirds, they're flapping.

They don't need the thermals.

Yeah, I know.
